Sunday Memory and Photograph: A Mother for Christmas

It was the 9th of December,

A Thursday night,

15 Days before Christmas,

The Christmas lights were off

Lanterns and decors remain unhanged

Angels came and took the woman from the young girl’s arm,

And the young girl had never wish for anything,

But a MOTHER for Christmas.

  16. Wish we could also ask God to heal our mothers' sicknesses, stay away from any harm and be healthy forever.. mother's are no perfect, but they deserve to have these blessings, be there to witness us with our own growing families.. be always there when others' are too busy with their own lives, ready to lend their helping hands, their shoulders for you to cry on and their ears ready to listen to every words you utter. Oh this makes me sad..

  17. This made me really sad..how innocent and pure the wish is.

  24. Ang lungkot naman. It's really not a merry season without the family. I've always preferred Christmas because I believe that it's the holiday for the family. Noche Buena is made not for friends but for the whole family.

But isn't it true that the message of Christmas is hope and love? Wouldn't be such a joy for the mother to see her child basking in the joys and happiness of the season instead of soaking in the pool of tears and sadness?

Yes, it's sad. But life must go on. The mother would say the same thing. No mother would want to see her child in tears, especially at a time like this. I just pray you find joy, peace and happiness this year. Don't let your spirit die.

Anyway this message made me think a lot about my own parents. Shucks. I'm more determined to cook them a sumptuous dinner for Noche Buena- a simple gesture of how I treasure them so much.

Missionaries of Charity Home of Joy for the Sick Children

“this place will break your heart, will make you cry, will make you want to reach out, and will make you feel grateful & thankful, all at the same time…”   They are located at: 1030 Tayuman Street, Tondo, Manila. Their telephone number is (+632) 255-0832 and the contact person is Sister Anselm. I wrote that caption in this same season last year, my first time to visit a place called “Missionaries of Charity Home of Joy for the Sick Children”.  I was with a  group of friends along with our respective families.  I could never be thankful enough to our friend Rupert and his family for leading us to this place.  It was not my first time to do a charity visit to an orphanage and I sort of wonder why we were “brief” that this is for special children.  I only realized what that briefing is about when I see for myself how “special” these children are.  I apologize if this may not sound good to some, but the sight of the sick children is heartbreaking.  I tried to look tough and not to

I’m doing my usual morning run at the SM Mall of Asia bay side when I spotted this area.  It kind of caught me by surprise seeing this area as colorful and lively because I remember during my last run, this area is used to be surrounded with iron sheets coverings, the same thing when there’s something being constructed inside the coverings.  And then I remembered that I had a short break from my morning run.  It seems like this activity is launched while I was on short break from my morning run.   As usual, every time I see something new that looks exciting, I am excited to share the info to you all.  So for those who are into cars and driving, this one’s for you! “Go Kart” !
